Documenting your early days of motherhood isn’t about how you look. It’s about how it felt, the incredible high of holding your baby, watching those first tiny yawns, and knowing you gave them life. As you two feel through what your family feels like now that your baby is here, these precious moments are the ones that deserve to be cherished forever.

As your photographer, I capture those details and moments that are fleeting: The baby bump that will soon give way to new life. Their tiny, delicate faces and toes. Their first little smiles and cries, the way they instinctually know and love you.

I’m Jennie, maternity and newborn photographer.

For the past 16 years, I’ve captured memories for hundreds of families, 

from births to newborn babies and ordinary family moments.

When I think about my mom pregnant with me in the ’80s, I think about a story she used to tell. It was a brutally hot day, the kind where sun streams in all the windows and heat radiates off everything you touch. She stood barefoot on the porch, enjoying the breeze and a cigarette. That’s the kind of photo I wish I had: not just an image, but a deeply felt moment.


This is the exact feeling I capture for you. I want you to remember where you lived, how life felt, and the little details that make up this chapter for you. Even if your family isn’t complete yet or you’re still saving up for the dream home, you’ll want photographs and film to remember these days.

  • Yes! Most families take advantage of the interest-fee payment plan and make monthly payments for 12 months.

    The Full Story package is $250/month and the Milestone Story is $150/month.

  • By the 2nd trimester, you should get in touch with me. My calendar can book up, and we’ll want to get your maternity session scheduled as soon as possible. 


  • Sometimes photos don’t do justice to a certain moment. Like the sound of your toddler giggling as he jumps on the couch, or the way your baby gazes up at you like you’re the best thing she’s ever seen. That’s where films come in. When you add this to your package, you’ll receive a 3+ minute professionally edited and sound-designed film that captures the movement and feeling of the moments.


  • There’s no such thing as a home that’s ‘bad’ for photos, and your surroundings are part of the story! I’ve taken gorgeous photos and video in houses of every type: from apartments to luxury homes and everything in between. Your home is perfect just as it is.


  • Absolutely. Personalized planning and outfit guidance is included with every session, which means I’ll guide you on what to wear from those early post-partum days to the 12-month milestone session.

  • If it’s a photography only session, usually 2-3 weeks. If you add on a film, we can talk more in depth. Some clients want it later when baby is cooing.

  • Unscripted and authentic. I'm not posing your baby in a bowl or wrapping them in props in a studio. I'm coming to your home to document those tiny, fleeting details … the sounds they make, their little toes, the way they curl into you … and the real life happening all around them. It's newborn photography that actually feels like your story.
