I have truly enjoyed working with Jacky, capturing her pregnancy and her newborn baby girl, Harper! We had so much fun and I just love making a session personable, using the home’s environment to tie in the uniqueness of that particular family. Since Jacky is a singer, she had lots of creative aspects to her home that matched this part of her heart. I know she will treasure these images for years to come!
Garrett is so adorable, look at ALL that hair! My gosh! I could have photographed him all day. His parents are so head over heels in love. and I loved capturing that! Its going to go by so fast. I hope they treasure each and every second.
Here is his sweet video, too.
Baby Eliot is brand new to the world! She went overdue, and was very lazy about entering this world. But now that she’s here, she is pretty chill! We had fun capturing the new baby. I captured her sister about 3 or so years ago. Her big sister is so adorable and I loved working with them all again! I still pinch myself, wondering if this life I lead is really mine.
Lucy arrived into the world smiling, Im sure. She was so sweet and smiley! She and her sister are already bonding. The entire family was just so in love with the new baby girl. Lifestyle shoots allow me to capture memories, pure moments, raw emotion. And I am falling in love with film and videography too – because what better way to capture emotion! Please enjoy Lucy’s video and sneak peek!
Miles was awake all night the night before his shoot, and luckily that meant he was super tired for his session with me! (sorry mom and dad!). I loved all his hair and he has the most angelic little face! We captured him amazingly, and I love this new little family!
Miles’ Film Rocks!
I had the most amazing time photographing Kennedy. She was very sleepy. Her sweet face, she has the most gorgeous details. The atmosphere was very calm. I really enjoyed using a new lens and capturing the entire nursery. We did filmography as well and captured this angel perfectly! I know its going to go by so fast!
Baby Easton is such a sweet baby boy to photograph. I LOVED his very unique nursery! She purchased most from Restoration Hardware and or Pottery Barn. They have these amazing windows in their living room. And the following story is why I love my clients SO much. I get to their home and keep huffing and puffing like a child, because the dang Christmas Tree was ruining the shot I had in my head. They didn’t even hesitate. They moved it and it was actually easy to move! Later they said they would have moved the kitchen if I needed them to. It was so worth it! Here is Easton’s newborn video and a sneak peek of his gorgeous gallery.
Hallie is an absolutely beautiful baby girl. She has the most precious little features. I loved working with this family in their home. Lifestyle sessions are so sweet and calm. The parents have a decently easy morning getting ready, and don’t have to leave the home. I like having a lot of images of mom, dad, and baby together – to show their connection and the emotion that comes with a newborn. I know these parents will cherish these photos for a lifetime.
Here is a video I created documenting Hallie as a newborn.
I first met Kellie a few years ago, when she came to me for mentoring. It was love at first, sight. She is HYSTERICAL. and has the warmest heart of anyone I have ever known. She and I connected because we both just really love babies. Since then, we have visited and spent time together, despite her living in Memphis. A few months ago, I finalized my choice to step back from my business, the newborn part anyway, and do less where newborns are concerned (because Im homeschooling). My focus in life has changed a lot and I had to adapt my priorities to our new chapter in parenthood. A few months ago, I kept saying she should move here and work for me and pose newborns! All she wants to do is pose newborns. She has no interest in running a full business. I was half joking but secretly wishing it would come true. And dare I say, it has! She and her hubby have decided to relocate to Nashville and My sweet Kellie will be working for me.
So, what will this look like? If anything, clients will get me even more! Maybe not for newborn, but because Kellie can photograph more newborns than I can, it will allow me to still photograph clients’ maternity and first year sessions! Her style is representative of mine, Organic, simplistic, sweet and simple! You’ll love her and our team will work hard for the CLIENT! xoxo
Without further ado, meet Kellie. The newest team member of JPP! Below are a few examples of the work she will offer our clients 🙂
Sweet Everett was so good for his session. He slept the entire time and I had fun getting some cool shots of him. His mommy and daddy brought a cradle Everett’s grandfather had made a long time ago. I love being able to use antiques that are special to the family. I cannot wait to watch him grow through the lens this next year 🙂
