Kennedy’s first year is flying by y’all! Seems like just yesterday I was photographing her Momma’s Maternity Session. It was by far one of my favorite maternity shoots. We have photographed Kennedy Every 3 months since birth and each and every session has been equally glorious. However, it was nice to finally get outside for her photos. At the beginning of the session, something happened that, surprisingly, has never happened at a session! We were walking to our first starting place, getting ready to start with Family Photos. When the baby pooped all over momma! It was SUCH a mess, and no, she did not have a back up outfit! But my favorite part was how she rolled with it. She cleaned it with some baby wipes and waited for it to dry, photographing Kennedy during this time. It dried in no time, thanks to the summer heat 😉 and we were strategic with posing! I love when my clients roll with the punches, because 9 times out of 10, something will happen when it comes to photographing babies. Its just the way it is! But how we respond makes all the difference!
