My first ever workshop! Totally worth blogging about
Why am I offering a workshop? Many reasons! 1) I LOVE teaching. I used to want to be a teacher and tutored for a while – one of the most rewarding jobs ever. I have a background in psychology that has given me insight on working with adults, I find it easy to read people and this helps me use unique ways of teaching people2) I am determined to have a successful workshop. I have heard that there are too many people or people just dont get much out of them. So, I am limiting it to 6 photographers and using SIX models. I plan to get each attendee some posing time as well, so they can have hands on experience.
Each attendee will be served beverages and food during the workshop. I will also be discussing business building as well, such as blogging, google, websites, networking, facebook, etc. I can answer questions regarding Lightroom as well, but I wont volunteer it. I will be going over how to edit newborns in detail. Sharing where to find great backgrounds and props, etc. As well as going over camera technique! (angles!! and blur!)
I cannot wait to do this. Each baby and person I come into contact with in this business, I bond with. Im sure this will be no exception.
